Immersive audio at your fingertips!
Two powerful tools: Pro Tools and the Dolby Atmos Renderer. Learn how they work together in this (5-non consecutive Sundays) pair of courses: PT 205D and PT210D. After each course, you'll take an exam, and after passing both, you'll be certified as an Avid Pro Tools Dolby Atmos Professional!
Classes are from 4pm - 8pm Sundays only London UK time.
Class Dates: (Jan 15th, 22nd, 29th - Feb 12th, 19th, 2023) Excluding Sunday, the 5th of February.
Pre-Requisites for the Class
In order to succeed in this class
- At least 3+ years professional Pro Tools experience or have a PT User Certification
- Be prepared to study outside of class time.
- You will need to have a copy of the Dolby Atmos Production Suite and Pro Tools (check our Workshop Pre Flight page: Here)
- Make sure you already have a working knowledge of the following concepts:
- Creating, Saving, and Deleting paths in your I/O setup in Pro Tools (if you do not have prior experience you can take the PT User certification course first before taking this course)
- The basics of how timecode works.

If you opted for the On-site class:
The On-site class is being hosted at Mix Messiah Productions, just a 5 minute walk from Brighton Station at 5 Buckingham Place, BN1 3TD. There are hotels nearby, including affordable chains such as Jurys Inn Brighton, Hotel Ibis Brighton City Centre, and a bit further out is the Premier Inn Brighton City Centre. We do not provide housing, but you may want to apply for a travel bursary).

Need the prerequisites?
You will need to have taken Pro Tools 101 and 110 or confirm that you have at least 3 years professional Pro Tools experience in order to enroll for the Dolby Atmos Course.
